Inclusive School in Wuppertal

We are proud to be part of the transformation of a former vocational school in Wuppertal into an educational centre for children with intellectual disabilities. A project of great social significance that adapts the existing building — functionally, technically and spatially — to the requirements of a contemporary and inclusive learning environment.

The project is carried out in two phases. The first, planned for completion by September 2026, covers all the measures needed to have the centre operational for the coming academic year. The second, scheduled for 2027, includes the installation of a lift and the expansion and improvement of the main entrance.

The architectural concept introduces a new colour code that gives the building identity, orientation and vitality, adapting it to its new use. Targeted measures are also implemented to improve acoustics, fire protection and — as a central concern — accessibility, ensuring a safe, clearly structured and welcoming environment for all its users.
