House R’s structure takes shape in just three days. The cross-laminated timber (CLT) panels arrive on site millimetre perfect from the factory, ready for assembly. This is made possible by an intensive process of prior planning and workshop documentation — every element, every connection and every constructive detail is defined before production begins. Without that coordination phase, on-site precision would simply not be achievable.

The structure also incorporates steel portal frames that ensure the overall stability of the building, integrated with the timber construction in a precise and coordinated manner.

The speed of assembly and millimetre accurate planning bring a direct advantage: windows can be ordered well in advance and the building envelope closed as quickly as possible. The sooner the shell is sealed, the sooner interior works can begin without the risk of moisture — one of the most critical factors on any construction site.
